Butši Tladi

President, World Federation of Insurance Intermediaries

Butši Tladi was appointed as the President of the World Federation of Insurance Intermediaries (WFII) in March 2024. She is based in Johannesburg, South Africa and is actively involved in various industry initiatives, notably through the Financial Intermediaries Association of SA (FIA) where she is the President and chairperson of the Board. She was instrumental in submissions made to government on a number of issues including National Health Insurance (NHI). She also led the broker submission to the Competition Commission on the Market Inquiry on Private Health.

Butši has over 25 years-experience in the financial services industry, with no less than 15 years in senior management. Butši started her career at Alexforbes and has served in various leadership roles, including a successful stint as the Managing Director of Alexander Forbes Health. She is currently appointed as the Executive: Consulting and is responsible for all customers and consultants in the group, which includes health, retirements and investments. She also serves on the Boards of Alexforbes Botswana and Namibia.

Butši holds a Masters of Business Administration and a Bachelors of Commerce degrees from the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg.
