Public webinar on Stakeholder Engagement and Consultation Policy

In June the IAIS consulted on a new Stakeholder Engagement and Consultation Policy (SECP), which makes clear that stakeholder engagement is an integral part of what we do as a standard setter. The policy builds on a solid foundation of established IAIS stakeholder engagement practices and recognises the necessity for innovative approaches to involve a wider audience of stakeholders. The focus is on ensuring that a diverse range of stakeholders have equal access to the IAIS, while maintaining the integrity of IAIS processes.

The updated policy, which takes on board feedback from the public consultation, was published on 27 November. On the 13 December webinar, the IAIS updated stakeholders on the consultation responses and how the policy has been updated and finalised.
