Interim update on the IAIS Strategic Plan for 2025-2029

The IAIS held a public webinar on Wednesday 24 April 2024 from 14:00 – 15:00 CEST to update the IAIS stakeholder community on the development of the IAIS Strategic Plan 2025-2029 and to invite questions and comments.  

During the webinar, IAIS Chair Shigeru Ariizumi and IAIS Secretary General Jonathan Dixon presented how the Strategic Plan has been developed (which included a stakeholder survey in 2023) and provided a briefing on its key components – including the core objectives, strategic themes and operational priorities for 2025-2029.  

The development of the next Strategic Plan is nearing its final stages, and this engagement with stakeholders served to share insights into what is presently anticipated and invite reactions that can be considered as we conclude the development process. Follow-up written comments are also accepted by 2 May 2024 at iais@bis.org. The final Strategic Plan will be approved by IAIS members and then published in Q4 2024.
