Public discussion session on Stakeholder Engagement and Consultation Policy

The IAIS hosted a virtual background session on Wednesday 5 July to discuss its current consultation on the creation of a new Stakeholder Engagement and Consultation Policy. 

The IAIS Stakeholder Engagement and Consultation Policy makes clear that stakeholder engagement is an integral part of what we do as a standard setter. The policy builds on a solid foundation of established stakeholder engagement but recognises that to reach a wider range of stakeholders, it is important that the IAIS continues to innovate in the way it engages. The policy is focused on ensuring that the IAIS can engage with a diverse range of stakeholders that have equal access to the IAIS, and that conflicts of interest are avoided.

Consultation responses were invited by 20 August 2023 24:00 (Basel time).
