IAIS reports on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the insurance sector and planned future work

The IAIS today published a stocktake report giving insight into the actions IAIS member supervisors, other international organisations and the insurance industry are taking to advance DEI in the insurance sector.

The report also describes the IAIS’ intention to maintain its focus on DEI with two new projects in 2023. We will invite industry and other stakeholder input as we take forward the planned work.

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) is one of the IAIS’ key strategic themes in recognition that advancing DEI within insurers’ organisations and in the way they operate their businesses supports better prudential and consumer outcomes.
